  EXTFIELD 001 DPCM DRUMS [HARD] is a set of 256 one-shot samples recorded from the discontinued and difficult-to-find MIDINES cartridge for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
  
  This pack is focused exclusively on the delta modulation channel of the NES which provides lo-fi digital sample playback. The quality of these sounds reflects the technical limitations of the hardware, lending a unique character and "grit" that may be familiar to fans of classic samplers from Akai and E-mu.
  
  In addition to the 256 one-shots, two 128 slice wavs (one for each MIDINES sound bank) with all samples evenly spaced are included. This makes loading and mapping samples quicker and easier in environments like the M8 tracker, the Octatrack, Ableton, or wherever sliced samples are supported.
  
  All samples are 16-bit 44.1kHz mono, normalized to -1db.
  
  Three demo tracks made exclusively with sounds from this sample pack are included to give a sense of what it can sound like in use.
